Hello 2012 , New year comes and durian season is also coming. This summer you will see a lot of durians in the market. Those countries where planting durian trees will harvest durian fruits very soon. In Thailand , the place I am living in , normally has durians on April to June but I can see some markets selling durian fruit since the last year, December 2011…(with a minor season from December to February) And yeah! I already ate a lot of it 
This is normally durian fruit season of the countries where planted it :
1) Thailnd – Fruiting, April to July
2) Sarawak, Malaysia – Fruiting, January to March
3) Penang, Malaysia – Fruiting, June to August
4) Philippines – Flowering, May to June | Fruiting, August to November
5) Indonesia – Flowering, June to September | Fruiting, October to February
6) Cambodia – Flowering, January to April | Fruiting in May
7) Sri Lanka – Flowering, March to April | Fruiting, July nto August
8 ) India – Fruiting, July to september
In Thailand, durians are now available for many months:
Mid March to June (Central & Eastern region)
July to September (Southern areas)
October to November (Chiang Mai & Northern Provinces)
In Indonesia, durians are seen from January to February, with a minor season from March to April.
In U.S.A. , I think you can find durian fresh fruits since December to July. Normally find them at China town. Have you ever tasted durian in this year 2012 yet?
