* Durian (the choice of sweet durians is better)

* 3/4 cups butter

* 2/3 cups sugar

* 3/4 cups plain flour

* 4 eggs

The process of preparing the durian cake is as follows:

1. First thing to do is to prepare the durian fruit. Remove flesh from the durian and discard the seeds.

2. Puree the flesh that has been removed in a food processor.

3. Next is to preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). After preheating the oven, beat the butter and sugar together until it smoothens then beat in the egg yolks.

4. After this, sift the flour and beat it into the prepared butter mixture. Add in the durian pulp. Whip egg whites into stiff peaks and fold them into the mixture. Bake cake in a greased 8 inches cake pan for 1 hour or until cake is done. One can test if the cake is already cooked by using a clean toothpick.
